The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development (CESED) is developing a niche in taught and research programmes in entrepreneurship and enterprise development to meet national and international manpower requirements as well as to promote employability and job creation, especially among the youth.

Aims and Objectives
The post-graduate programmes in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development are designed to equip students with competencies that will enable them to function as enterprise development experts and be able to occupy managerial positions in the private sector, public sector and in international development organisations. The programme is also meant to build capacity for sustainable promotion and development of entrepreneurship and small enterprises in Ghana and in Africa. Students can enroll in any of the three levels of the programme namely, Post-graduate Diploma, MA, MBA and MCom.
The specific objectives of the programmes are to:
- equip students with knowledge in entrepreneurship and enterprise development;
- develop the entrepreneurial skillset of students for enterprise development;
- train students to attain and promote the highest level of ethics and professionalism in entrepreneurship and enterprise development;
- build students’ capacity to design and implement interventions for the promotion of entrepreneurship and small enterprise development; and
- equip students with research knowledge and skills that will enable them to contribute to critical discourse, research and policy in entrepreneurship and enterprise development, particularly in the case of the MBA and MCom.

Levels of Programme: Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development
The Post-graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development is a comprehensive programme designed for persons who desire to acquire entrepreneurial competencies and do not intend to progress to the higher levels of MA, MBA and MCom.

Entry requirements: Applicants must have a first degree with Second Class Lower or better from any recognised University
