I wanted to study a programme that could influence my life and satisfy my career goals and the MCom (Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development) did exactly that. The programme enabled me to learn from practitioners in new venture creation, family business, enterprise development, governance, strategic management, statistics, finance, marketing and accounting, informing me to reflect the globalised work place. I am convinced that the programme has not only made me a more employable postgraduate, but deployed me to employ people and become  an  honourable  Executive Chairman.  Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development (CESED) is distinguished by the experience of the faculty, the enthusiasm of the students and the goal of producing quality graduates.

My name is Bridget Ama Eshun, a 23-year-old entrepreneur currently pursuing my master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development at University of Cape Coast.  This programme has been a transformative experience for me, providing invaluable insights into the world of starting and managing a business. Alongside my colleagues, I identified a significant gap in the market for consultancy services for aspiring and existing business owners. We decided to seize this opportunity and offer our expertise to those in need.
Recently, we achieved a major milestone by securing our first client; an international investor seeking a business plan for a 10-million-dollar project. The knowledge and practical experience gained through our programme played a crucial role in enabling us to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study and prepare a robust business plan that aligned with the investor's requirements. The programme equipped us with the necessary skills in market research, financial analysis, and strategic planning, allowing us to deliver a professional, tailored solution to our client.
I am incredibly grateful for the eye-opening experiences and practical education provided by the entrepreneurship and small enterprise development programme. It has not only given me the confidence to pursue my entrepreneurial ambitions but has also equipped me with the essential tools to navigate the complex landscape of business ownership and management. With a fervour for Entrepreneurship, I deliberately chose my MBA programme at the University of Cape Coast School of Business’ Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development (CESED) to hone my skills in business management and innovation. This decision was driven by a desire to merge my passion for entrepreneurship with a solid academic foundation.
